Classic Vanilla Scones

Not the scone you're bracing for.

Most scones ask you to have a cup of tea nearby just to get through them. Ours don't. Cold butter worked into the dough gives these a rich, tender crumb that stays moist all the way through, while still breaking apart with that proper crumbly scone texture. Buttery, soft, and structurally sound. No sawdust involved.

We finish each one with a light drizzle of icing. Just enough for a hint of sweetness across the top, never so much that it turns into a pastry.

Perfect with coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon, or standing over the counter at an hour you'd rather not disclose. Baked in small batches.

Ingredients: all-purpose flour (organic hard red wheat flour, organic malted barley flour), granulated sugar, baking powder (cornstarch, sodium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate), salt, unsalted butter (pasteurized cream), heavy whipping cream (cream, carrageenan mono & diglycerides, polysorbate 80), eggs, vanilla extract (vanilla bean extractive, alcohol), powdered sugar (sugar, cornstarch), milk.
