The simple one, done properly.

Our same buttery scone base — moist and tender through the middle, still breaking apart with that proper crumbly texture — loaded with chocolate chips throughout. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated. Just a very good scone with plenty of chocolate in it.

The turbinado sugar on top is what makes it. Those big amber crystals don't dissolve in the oven, so they stay put and give you a light crackle across the top before you reach the soft interior. It's a small thing that changes the whole bite.

Made for coffee, mornings, and anyone who thinks a scone should be a little bit of a treat. Baked in small batches.
