The comfort pick. Quick oats give these cookies their hearty, homey chew, that slightly rustic texture that makes an oatmeal cookie feel like it came from someone's kitchen rather than a package. Our home-fed sourdough starter adds the Spinsterly touch: a which creates a softness that keeps them tender for days.
Instead of raisins, we use real Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate chips, because we know what you actually wanted. They melt into the oats and warm brown sugar for something wholesome enough to eat with coffee and rich enough to eat after dinner.
Crisp at the edges, soft in the center. Baked in small batches.
Ingredients: all-purpose flour (organic hard red wheat flour, organic malted barley flour), salt, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), baking powder (cornstarch, sodium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate), unsalted butter (pasteurized cream), brown sugar (molasses), granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract (vanilla bean extractive, alcohol), spring water, rolled oats, semi-sweet chocolate chips (sugar, unsweetened chocolate, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, soy lecithin, vanilla extract)
