Pumpkin Pie Spice Scones

Fall, on a plate, without apology.

Real pumpkin pie spice goes into the dough — cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove — warm and fragrant enough that you'll smell them before you taste them. It's the whole autumn kitchen in scone form, and it does not require a drive-thru or a seasonal announcement to be worth it.

Same buttery base as always: moist and tender through the middle, still breaking apart with that proper crumbly scone texture. Then we finish each one with a cinnamon icing drizzled across the top, which adds just enough sweetness and doubles down on the spice.

Best with coffee, a blanket, and a morning you don't have to rush. Baked in small batches.

Ingredients: all-purpose flour (organic hard red wheat flour, organic malted barley flour), granulated sugar, baking powder (cornstarch, sodium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate), salt, unsalted butter (pasteurized cream), heavy whipping cream (cream, carrageenan mono & diglycerides, polysorbate 80), vanilla extract (vanilla bean extractive, alcohol), pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and sulfiting agents), powdered sugar (sugar, cornstarch), water.
