Strawberries and Cream Scones

Summer, in a scone.

Real strawberries go right into the dough, so you get soft, jammy pieces of actual fruit in every bite rather than a vague pink flavor. White chocolate chips melt alongside them into something creamy and sweet, and the pairing does exactly what the name promises. Strawberries and cream, but you can hold it in one hand.

Same buttery base as our classic scone, which means moist and tender all the way through while still breaking apart with that proper crumbly texture. Finished with a light drizzle of icing across the top.

Best with coffee on a slow morning, and honestly hard to eat just one. Baked in small batches.

Ingredients: all-purpose flour (organic hard red wheat flour, organic malted barley flour), granulated sugar, baking powder (cornstarch, sodium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate), salt, unsalted butter (pasteurized cream), heavy whipping cream (cream, carrageenan mono & diglycerides, polysorbate 80), eggs, vanilla extract (vanilla bean extractive, alcohol), fresh strawberries, white chocolate chips (sugar, palm kernel oil, whole milk powder, nonfat dry milk, soy lecithin, vanilla extract), powdered sugar (sugar, cornstarch), water.
